About Us

Scott Cowan has over 35 years' experience in Banking in a variety of roles including Area Commercial Manager with HSBC and Regional Treasury Manager with Bank of Ireland. He was also a founding Director of Veritas Treasury.

He set up Veritas Treasury in 2013 in order to give business owners access to expert Banking and Treasury advice. Veritas Treasury advise a wide range of clients and have been successful in obtaining significant settlements in respect of  mis-sold hedging products.

Scott co-founded Veritas Property Finance in 2018 after he identified a gap in the market for high quality property finance advice in an evolving world where the high street banks were no longer the only place to secure property funding. 

Andrew is a career Banker with more than 25 years of industry experience working for HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of Ireland and RBS.  Much of his experience was gained in the Commercial Property Finance market in Scotland.

Andrew established a consultancy business of his own at the start of 2013 and spent a number of years successfully advising clients in their relationships with their Banks with a specific focus on mistreatment by the Bank.

He co-founded Veritas Property Finance in 2018 to utilise his property finance expertise and knowledge of the UK wide lending market to build Veritas Property Finance into a market leading provider of Property Finance.
